James, Danny, Chris, David, Steve are five teenage heart throbs who are Son of Dork.
After Busted split, James whose roots are in Rochford looked for a new band. Son of Dork were born and the rest is history.
What would have been an ordinary January afternoon in the south Essex town turned into a massive event, with screaming fans lining the street to get a glimpse of the popular lads.
The visit comes not long after McFly did a record signing in the same shop - Adrians.
The police were out in force to control the excited crowds, who were queuing all the way down the road and around the corner waiting to meet their idols.

It is thought there were well over 1000 teenagers and young people who came to greet the band.
After signing lots of copies of their latest single "Eddies Song" the band signed autographs and patiently posed whilst they had photos taken with their fans.
They even received presents, cards, cakes and teddy bears.
However there was one band member missing - David was unwell so was unable to make the event.
James' larger than life personality more than made up for his absence though, and the fun talking boys were bright and full of enthusiasm.
